LIV Golf files for bankruptcy. The Saudi-backed league filed for Chapter 11 Tuesday owing players more than $45 million, including $7.5 million to Jon Rahm. Players are now free to leave.

The Chapter 11 petition was filed in New Jersey, according to ESPN, which cited court records listing the league's unpaid obligations to players. Beyond Jon Rahm's $7.5 million, the records show Bryson DeChambeau among those owed millions. With the filing, players under LIV contracts are no longer bound to the league and may pursue opportunities elsewhere.
