Corrections
When we get a fact wrong, we say so. Corrections are fixed in the story, stamped as updated, and logged on this page.
Our policy
- Factual errors are corrected promptly. The story is fixed, shows an updated timestamp, and the correction is recorded below with the date and what changed.
- Clarifications (imprecise but not wrong) are made in place and noted here when they change the reading of a story.
- Style fixes (typos, formatting) are made silently — they don’t alter facts and aren’t logged.
Report an error
Every story links to our contact form (“Report an error”). Corrections are reviewed ahead of all other reader messages — if we got something wrong, we want to know today.
The log
No formal corrections have been logged since this page was established in July 2026. When one is made, it will appear here: date, story, and what was corrected.
