UAE labels cockpit attack terrorism. The United Arab Emirates declared the flydubai co-pilot's axe-and-knife cockpit attack a terrorist act and named suspect Hamam al-Hammami; Israel began repatriating stranded passengers.

According to Reuters, the incident involved a co-pilot who attempted to crash the aircraft, flydubai flight 1073, while it was en route to Israel. The attempt failed and the plane landed safely in Saudi Arabia, leaving passengers stranded there until Israel's repatriation effort began. The UAE's terrorism designation and the public naming of the suspect came as authorities worked to establish what happened aboard the flight.

Lindy Li weighs congressional run. The former Democratic insider isn't ruling out another run for Congress. She says her loyalty to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris cost her key party relationships.

In an interview with Fox News, Li described a fall from Democratic insider to what the outlet characterized as party exile, saying her ties to Biden and Harris carried personal as well as political costs.
