Third survivor rescued in Nepal. Rescuers pulled a Chinese national alive from a flooded tunnel Saturday, 10 days after a glacial flood killed more than 1,300 people, raising hopes for dozens still trapped.
The rescue came a day after two Nepali workers were found alive in the same tunnel network, according to Reuters. The disaster struck when a wall of ice, rock and mud swept through the area 10 days earlier. Crews are continuing search operations in the flooded passages as efforts to reach others believed trapped go on.
